Amber Fillion
Amber has been traveling since 2018, and for Vivacity since mid 2021. She appreciates that Tyler knows the ins and outs of traveling as he is one, himself. “Leadership at Vivacity prioritizes creating a strong team that provides the best care and interacts with integrity, always,” Amber said.
Augie Doty
Augie has been working as a perfusionist since 2016, and has been traveling with Vivacity since early 2021. His favorite part about working for Vivacity is how reachable leadership is, and the connectedness you feel being a part of the team, “You don’t have to talk to ten people to get things done.”
Ketera Long
Ketera has been working as an autotransfusionist for the last three years. Although the call schedule can be demanding, she loves working with the surgeons and anesthesiologists in the O.R. “The best part about being an autotransfusionist has to be working with the surgical team to ensure minimal blood loss for patients,” Ketera said.
Chris Sansing
Chris appreciates the autonomy that perfusion allows while still getting to make a difference in patients’ lives. The most challenging part of being a perfusionist for the last 21 years has been dealing with bad outcomes, especially when they are in the pediatric population. “You can’t always control outcomes, but as long as you do your best you can hold your head high.”

Tyler Posten
Before he found perfusion, Vivacity founder and CEO Tyler Posten was considering attending nursing school. A family member who was a nurse recommended that he visit and observe the OR before committing to nursing school. “After seeing all of the professionals in the cardiac OR, I was most interested in the perfusionists–I was inspired that the role was so critical to patient outcomes,” Tyler said.
